Facilitated discussion of film "Caller ID: Unknown"

On December 3, 2023, our friends at Peace Through Film held a discussion of the movie "Caller ID: Unknown," a story that takes place against the backdrop of the Anglophone/ Ambazonia conflict in Cameroon. Executive Director Suzanne Ghais facilitated the discussion, which was held in hybrid format, online and in person at the University of Toronto.

Expert Panel Discussion:  "Referendums in Peace Processes"

On September 26, 2023, with many in the Ambazonia movement advocating a referendum on independence,  Pathfinders4Peace held an expert panel discussion featuring our board member Prof. Pádraig O'Malley and Prof. Katy Collin on the role referendums can play in liberation movements and peace processes.

Harvard Seminar: "Prospects for Peace in Cameroon's 'Anglophone Crisis'"

On April 21, 2023, Executive Director Suzanne Ghais gave a presentation as part of the Herbert C. Kelman Seminar on International Conflict Analysis and Resolution series

Conference at the University of Massachusetts Boston: "Cameroon: Change and Challenges"

In 2019, Pathfinders4Peace, in partnership with the Moakley Distinguished Professor of Peace and Reconciliation at the University of Massachusetts Boston, held two-day-long, in-person conference at the University of Massachusetts Boston on the origins and dynamics of the conflict. The conference involved both English-speaking and French-speaking Cameroonians as well as various professors, experts, university administrators, and students.

Roundtable at the United States Institute of Peace

In 2019, Pathfinders4Peace and the United States Institute of Peace collaborated to host an invitation-only, in-person roundtable at USIP that included numerous members of the Cameroonian diaspora as well as U.S. and foreign diplomats and international NGO leaders active on this conflict.
